northern lad 2,292 Posted March 6, 2014 Report Share Posted March 6, 2014 Cant beat it Stig my in laws own a broad beam barge (its a few foot wider than a narrow boat)all mod cons 2 bedrooms,bath,shower,fully fitted wardrobes/kitchen and a living room,its a home from home....as long as youre not in a rush to get anywhere lots of pubs enroute wherever you go,spent many a happy hour fishing off it.Take a dog and some ferts too ,worlds your oyster ATB Dave Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Funny thing gnipper,never once been asked for a license/day ticket whilst fishing off/near the barge ,done loads of the Bridgewater/Leeds/Liverpool on it never questioned once....and as you say the game....its everywhere ...and not a sole in sight it would be rude not too Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Last thing you want with your gammy shoulder is fukcing about with to many locks locks ...
